TERMS OF SERVICE — Langaj

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Langaj mobile app and website (the “Services”), operated by Lingo Fluent LLC (“Langaj,” “we,” “us”). By using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1) Eligibility

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the Services.
• Community features (posting, commenting, reacting, or otherwise contributing content) are available only to users 16 years of age or older.
• Before posting or commenting, you must confirm you are 16+. If we determine you are under 16, we may remove content and restrict your access to community features.

2) Accounts and Guest Use

• You may use Apple sign-in, Google sign-in, or (where available) use limited features without signing in (“guest mode”).
• You are responsible for safeguarding access to your account and for activity that occurs under your account.

When someone logs in or creates an account, they give us permission to send email marketing. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3) Community Rules

You agree not to post, upload, transmit, or share content that:

• Harasses, threatens, or targets individuals or groups; includes hate speech; or encourages violence.
• Includes sexual content involving minors or exploits anyone.
• Contains graphic content, nudity, or sexually explicit material.
• Is unrelated to language learning or educational purposes.
• Doxxes others or shares personal contact information (addresses, phone numbers, private emails) without permission.
• Is illegal, deceptive, or promotes scams.
• Infringes intellectual property rights or privacy rights.
• Contains malware, spam, or attempts to disrupt the Services.

We may remove content, limit visibility, suspend accounts, ban accounts, or take other action at our discretion to enforce these rules and keep the community safe. Violations of these rules, including posting graphic content, nudity, or content unrelated to learning, may result in immediate content deletion and account bans.

4) AI Features Disclaimer

The Services include AI features (including an AI Tutor and AI-generated content). AI outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are responsible for how you use AI outputs. Do not rely on AI outputs as professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.). Do not submit sensitive personal information into AI features.

5) Your Content and License

You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant Langaj a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and distribute your content only as necessary to operate, provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including displaying community posts and enforcing these Terms.

6) Subscriptions and Payments

6.1 Premium Subscriptions

We offer premium subscription services that provide access to additional features, including live classes, ad-free experience, unlimited AI Tutor conversations, verification badges, and premium translations. Subscription pricing is displayed at the time of purchase and may vary by region.

6.2 Payment Terms

• Payment processing: Payments are processed securely through Stripe, our third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms of service and privacy policy.
• Billing cycle: Subscriptions are billed monthly on a recurring basis.
• Auto-renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew each month unless canceled before the renewal date. You will be charged using the same payment method on file.
• Price changes: We reserve the right to modify subscription pricing. If we increase pricing, we will provide notice at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

6.3 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through the customer portal or by contacting us at support@langaj.app.
• Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.
• We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods after cancellation takes effect.

6.4 Refunds

• 48-hour refund window: If you cancel your subscription within 48 hours of your first payment, you may be eligible for a full refund. Contact us at support@langaj.app to request a refund.
• After 48 hours: After 48 hours from your first payment, refunds are not available. However, you will retain access to premium features until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.
• Refund requests are subject to review and approval at our discretion. All refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days.

6.5 Failed Payments

If payment fails (due to expired card, insufficient funds, or other reasons), we may suspend or terminate your subscription. We will attempt to notify you of payment issues. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method is valid and up to date.

6.6 Subscription Access

Premium features are available only while your subscription is active. If your subscription expires or is canceled, access to premium features will end at the conclusion of the paid billing period.

7) Advertising

The Services may display ads, including ads provided by third parties (such as Google). Ad providers may collect identifiers and interaction data to deliver ads and measure performance as described in our Privacy Policy.

8) Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, or used the Services unlawfully. You may stop using the Services at any time.

9) Disclaimers

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE." We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free results, or that content (including AI content) will be accurate.

10) Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Langaj will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits/data arising from your use of the Services.

11) Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Langaj and its affiliates from claims arising out of your content, your use of the Services, or your violation of these Terms.

12) Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
